NIGEL MCINTYRE PRESENTS

THE PROCLAIMERS

With support from Kirsten Adamson

Craig and Charlie Reid return in 2026 with a highly anticipated 13th studio album and a string of major live dates across the UK.

Following the phenomenal success of their 14-month Dentures Out world tour, which concluded in August 2023, The Proclaimers are back!

The pair have announced their return to the live stage, promising an unforgettable series of shows for fans across the UK. Known for their unique blend of pop, folk, punk, and new wave, Craig and Charlie will perform all their classic hits, including I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), Sunshine on Leith, and Letter from America, alongside tracks from their forthcoming album.

With a legacy spanning over three decades and inspiring a hit musical and film, The Proclaimers' live shows are celebrated for their energy, passion, and big-hearted, uncynical songs.

On BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island discs, David Tennant describes his first track by The Proclaimers, "I could have chosen any and every track from this band, probably my favourite band of all time. They write the most spectacular songs, big hearted, uncynical passionate songs."

Earlier this year after Coldplay had performed Sunshine on Leith on the BBC’s The Piano Room, Chris Martin said "There is a whole other world of music behind that song that I’ve just been discovering, and they’re a wonderful, wonderful band. Now we live in the age of coolness doesn’t mean anything, just quality and soul. The Proclaimers make more sense than ever."

With support from award-winning singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson (daughter of rock legend Stuart Adamson (Big Country, Skids) and her engaging mix of heartland Americana folk rock.

Following the critically acclaimed Landing Place (2023), Adamson sharpened her focus with Dreamviewer, released in 2025. Recorded with Joe Harvey-Whyte, the album marked a clear step forward—leaner, more assured, and rooted in the confidence that comes from experience and repetition. Critics praised its balance, emotional restraint and song-first approach, capturing an artist moving beyond promise and into control.

That momentum has carried straight onto the road. Adamson has sold out her own run of UK headline dates and is currently touring with the band, while also taking the show to Germany for a slot at the revered Static Roots Americana Festival. With major support slots still to be announced and 2026 shaping up as a make-or-break year, Adamson is no longer gathering pace—she’s already moving, and pulling people with her.
