Dominic Piers Smith, concert pianist by night and championship winning F1 aerodynamicist by day, joins the LSO to play Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2 - voted No. 1 in the 2025 Classic FM Hall of Fame. Brace yourself for symphonic fireworks! Shostakovich’s Festival Overture begins the concert, which culminates with Tchaikovsky’s passionate Fifth Symphony.

2 - 2:30pm Piano Masterclass
Dominic Piers Smith will lead a masterclass for 30 local pianists and their families. To take part in this you must have a ticket for the concert and be at Grade 3 or above standard on the piano.
Bring a piece of music you are working on and you may be selected to play with Dominic.
Limited places available, free but must still book a ticket.
