The Bardi Wind Orchestra under the baton of music director David Calow, return for their annual summer charity concert, again in association with Oadby & Wigston Lions Club. The concert is in support of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.

The Platinum Royal Jubilee will be celebrated with popular music associated with Her Majesty the Queen and from the 70 years of her reign.

To include: Crown Imperial, Elizabethan Serenade, Nessun Dorma, James Bond Suite, Vera Lynn songs, Game of Thrones, All I Ask of You, Disney at the Movies, The Dambusters March, Music of the Beatles, You’ll Never Walk Alone, The Incredibles, I Dreamed a Dream and ABBA Suite.

Vocal soloists Jenny Saunders and David Morris will also be taking part together with compére Martin Ballard.

A traditional flag-waving Proms finale will bring this Sunday afternoon family concert to a rousing patriotic conclusion!

For this event, we would appreciate it if you could try to arrive between the following times:
2 to 2:30pm - if you are sitting in the upper circle, rear circle or tiered stalls row P to X
2:30 to 3pm - if you are sitting in the flat stalls, tiered stalls rows A to O or the left, right or front circle
