Benjamin Baker violin
Born in New Zealand in 1990, Benjamin Baker first picked up a violin at three years old. Four years later he had made seven television appearances and played with Nigel Kennedy who recommended he join The Yehudi Menuhin School where he was granted a scholarship in 1998.
Benjamin is currently studying on a scholarship at the Royal College of Music and was selected for representation the Young Classical Artists Trust at the Wigmore Hall in 2013.
Carole Presland piano
Carole Presland's concerts have taken her all over Europe, the USA and the Far East. She has appeared at venues throughout the UK, including the Wigmore Hall, South Bank and international festivals such as Aldeburgh, Bath and Harrogate. She has broadcast regularly for BBC Radio 3, Bayerischer Rundfunk and Radio France and has recorded CDs in partnerships for labels such as EMI Classics, Pavane and Meridian, to wide critical acclaim.
A dedicated teacher, Carole is on the piano faculty at The Purcell School and the Royal Academy of Music and is frequently invited to adjudicate, examine and give classes at specialist music schools and conservatoires.
