In what promises to be one of the highlights of the season, world-renowned percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie joins the orchestra for a superb evening of music making.

Following her sell-out concert with the orchestra in 2005, Dame Evelyn returns to the De Montfort Hall stage to showcase her virtuosity and awe-inspiring skill. The orchestra is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year and what better way to get the season underway than a spectacular gala evening with a real star of the music world.
