SOLD OUT - PLEASE CALL THE BOX OFFICE FOR RETURNS
2012 marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Deacon Blue’s debut album ‘Raintown’. To celebrate, the band are reuniting to record a new studio album (released September 2012 by Demon Music) and head out on a full UK tour in October.
Demon Music are embarking on a full re-release campaign of the band’s entire catalogue that will feature unreleased tracks, demos, and videos from the band’s archive, and is set to be released alongside the brand new album.
The anniversary tour will take place in 15 UK cities, and will feature songs from the forthcoming album as well as Deacon Blue’s Greatest Hits.
Ricky Ross says: “Our 25th anniversary has been looming, and I hoped that the band and I could release new material to celebrate. I’ve been writing songs with Deacon Blue in mind for a few years now, and it’s great to be back in the studio in Glasgow getting these tracks down. I can’t wait to get them out on the road!”
