The concert opens with Debussy's groundbreaking impressionist masterpiece, followed by perhaps the best known of Mozart's Piano Concertos. For the concert's second half, the orchestra journies to Persia in Rimsk-Korsakov's fabulous orchestral showpiece Sheherazade with its tales of Arabian Nights.
