Stravinsky The Rite of Spring

The Bardi’s special Anniversary Season comes to an end in spectacular style with one of the most controversial music works ever written, Stravinsky’s Ballet about primal nature and sacrifice, The Rite of Spring.

Beethoven provides the musical contrast with the powerful and expressive Egmont overture and immortal ‘Emperor’ Piano Concerto, featuring internationally renowned soloist Norman Beedie.

6.30pm Free pre-concert talk from BBC Radio Leicester’s John Florance.
