The most popular of all piano concertos, Rachnmaninov's 2nd, will be played by one of the "greats" in Nicolai Demidenko.

The orchestra also journeys to Scandinavia for Sibelius's powerful 5th Symphony and Carl Nielsen's atmospheric Helios Overture.
