Formed in Glasgow by singer/songwriter Stuart Murdoch and bassist Stuart David in 1996, Belle and Sebastian have proven to be one of the most beloved Scottish bands of the late 90s and 2000s.
Their beautifully delicate but lush folk-pop sound won them a legion of fans and garnered them the Best New Band at the 1998 Brit Awards and successive masterpieces kept their dedicated fanbase satisfied.
Now, 2010 begun with the band going back to the studio, writing and arranging new songs for their eighth studio album, before embarking on their selected winter tour.
