Ellen Kent & Amphitheatre Productions present a spectacular autumn tour, bringing a touch of the Colosseum of Rome to venues across the UK and Eire following our premiere of Carmen in Leeds Castle, Kent. This new production of La Boheme will be directed by Ellen Kent with the amphitheatre set designed by London designer Will Bowen.

This magnificent traditional production will be performed by international soloists alongside the full Chisinau National Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.

La Boheme will be set within the amphitheatre structure which will be intriguingly converted into the attics and back streets of Bohemian Paris. The poignancy of this tragic opera will be set against the stunning backdrops inspired by Chagall, Renoir and the Impressionists and Act 2 will even boast snow!  This beautiful production will feature authentic costumes of the period.

With the most romantic music Puccini ever wrote, La Boheme will include the famous aria Your Tiny Hand is Frozen.
