Booking Info


All tickets are sold subject to availability and subject to our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Purchase of any ticket constitutes acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Sale. 

Online 

Click the "Buy Now" link next to the event of your choice and select your own seat from a live availability seating plan at any time, day or night. If there is no "Buy Now" link shown then the event is not available to book online so please contact the Box Office for further booking information. If you have any feedback on this service, or are encountering any problems, please contact us by email at dmh.tickets@leicester.gov.uk.

Please do the following to help speed up the online booking process:

  • Create an account with our online booking service and set a password with minimum of eight characters that must include a number, a capital letter and a punctuation mark. 
  • There is a 15 minute time limit to complete your purchase. Leaving tickets in the basket will not guarantee a sale if the transaction takes longer than this time.
  • Do not refresh your screen when you are processing a payment.
  • You must have Javablocked enabled to use this site. Further information to enable Javablocked is at http://www.java.com/en/download/help/enable_panel.xml
  • We recommend that you run the latest version of your preferred internet browser.

By Phone

The box office is open for telephone bookings on 0116 233 3111 from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 6pm. Sunday opening hours vary according to performances, please contact during standard opening hours to confirm.

In Person

The box office is open from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 6pm, until 8pm when there is an evening performance. It is closed on Sunday and Bank Holidays unless there is a performance.

Monday to Friday 10am to 4.30pm
Saturdays 9.30am to 4.30pm
Sundays and Bank Holidays 11am to 4pm
Closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day

Booking fees

We have listened to audience feedback and changed the way we charge fees to make it as clear as possible for our customers. The price of tickets now includes any booking fees that apply, meaning the price displayed is the final price to be paid, with nothing added on top at the end of the purchase.

 

Payment Methods

Payment can be made by all major debit/credit cards, gift voucher and also by cash or cheque. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express cards.  

Group Bookings

Our box office staff are happy to advise you on group bookings for performances and events at De Montfort Hall and are here to help you make the right choice for your party. Once you have decided the show and date for your group booking we will be able to give details such as available seat numbers and prices.

Reservations

Tickets can be reserved for most performances and events with payment due within four working days. All reservations will be released back into the system for sale once the four days have expired. We cannot reserve tickets in the last two days before a show or on first day of sale.
